Zine folding instructions

So you’d like your own copy of the Peterborough Currents zine! Here’s how you go about printing and folding it.

You can print the Peterborough Currents zines from files in our zine tag. Here is a link to the PDF version of the Operation Catnip zine.

Step One: Print the zine double-sided on legal size paper

You can also use letter size paper but it will turn out pretty small and you’ll have to trim more of the margin.

Confused about the page numbering? Look at this and this. The front page should line up in the same corner as page one when printed double-sided.

Step Two: Trim the excess margins

Use a paper cutter or scissors to trim about 1-2 centimeters of blank paper margins off of all four sides of the page.

Step Three: Cut along the dotted line up to the crease between pages 4 and 5

Use scissors to cut the page length-wise starting at the dotted line between page 1 and page 8. Make sure to leave pages 4 and 5 connected so you can fold it.

Step Four: Cut along the dotted line up to the crease between pages 8 and 9

Turn the page 180 degrees and use scissors or a paper cutter to cut up the page length-wise starting at the dotted line between page 12 and page 5. Make sure to leave pages 8 and 9 connected so you can fold it properly.

Continue. Fold where you left pages 4 and 5 connected.

Continue and fold the crease between pages 8 and 9 in the same way as above.

Ta da!
